Charting your Basal Temperature with a Digital Thermometer

Most women see a small rise in Basal Temperature just after ovulation, and sometimes a small dip just before. Using a Basal Thermometer to chart the variations in Basal Temperature can help you build a picture of your ovlation cycle and tell you when you are ovulating.
You can use a Basal Thermometer to measure this small increase in temperature near the middle of the menstrual cycle to help tell you when ovulation has happened.
Charting is an easy and cheap way to help if you are trying to get pregnant, all you need to do is take you temperature every day and record it on the chart to build up a picture of your cycle. Remember, you can't predict ovultion until you know have a history of your cycle because you will see the temperature rise after ovulation. The rise is normally a minimum of 0.4 - 0.6 degrees F.
For most women, 96 to 98 degrees is a normal basal temperature before ovulation. Immediately after ovulation, your Basal Temperature should rise to somewhere between 97 to 99 degrees. Record your temperature every day on the chart to see the changes. It is a myth that ovulation is always on day 14 of your cycle, it can be anywhere from day 10 to 21.
